Another Mountain Monday

And ain't it great? I was mostly just being silly with the last post about electronic jinxes. While it isn't fun to have to replace the stuff that Little Man breaks, honestly it is just the reality of raising a child with disabilities. I was pretty freaked out until I was able to replace our respite worker's Ipod, then I was fine.
So on to the mountains. It has been raining the last two days, and I waited til the last minute to get out and take the pictures today. But I am not sorry. The clouds were kissing the tops of the mountains and I think the pictures turned out well. But I will let you be the judge of that.

And now, some other pics to entertain you.

You haven't seen many picture of our Squidling. She has been just about the most miserable baby I have ever seen. She has really bad reflux and pretty much all she does is cry and puke. Thank goodness the doctors decided to give her some medicine for her poor little tummy and she is doing so much better now. We are even getting some smiles! Now if she will just put on some weight.

She has a dimple in her left cheek, just like her big sister!

The cousins had so much fun playing with each other yesterday.

I know, I know, the cuteness is off the charts! But I can't help if my grandbabies are the cutest ever, can I?
The only downer today is that Little Man is having some sort of neurological issue. I am not sure if it is seizures, or what, but he is definitely off. I had to pick him up from school today and I had the Pea with me. One of his teachers asked him who that was, and he could not remember her name! Normally he is fine with names, but this was a bit disconcerting, for me to have to tell him her name, when he lives with her for heaven's sake! I am not sure what is going on, but his teachers said he had been like that all day. I will leave his neurologist a message tomorrow. I am concerned, but I hope it just goes away on its' own, so we don't have to deal it.
And how was your weekend and Monday?

Jo, the pictures look great!

And I hope Little Man is OK.

I had a 2 hour training today, and then I took the rest of the day off and had a hot stone massage! Fabulous! And, tomorrow is a holiday, so I don't have to work! Yay for the government!

Your grandbabies are darling!
Squidlings smile is so cute! My daughter has dimples too, and I LOVE them. (got them from her Daddy, she did)
Those mountain pics are pretty cool. The weather was pretty dismal today in our area.

WV - brogic

They type of logic you use to try to understand your brother and why he borrows your car and uses all the gas then leaves your car parked at the end of your street because it's out of gas and you don't find out until your mom comes home and asks why your car is parked at the end of the street instead of in the garage where it should be.

(in other words, brogic makes no sense)

This was the cutest post!! Even cuter than the tile one (lol).
The Squid is getting bigger! It's amazing to me how much they all look so alike. Sweetness and kisses all around.

Dirty socks and Pizza has some interesting news for YOU today. Check it out!!

You may tell Little Man for me that he has to get better. I say so.

And I love you pictures, always.

You make the prettiest kids/grandkids EVAR! :)

As always, the mountains are lovely. I wish I had that view from my backyard.

How scary for Little Man to not be able to remember his cousin's name. I really hope it goes away on it's own, too.

The pictures are GREAT as usual!! I hope that things with little Man will be ok! He will be i my prayers!

My weekend was good. I had my jewelry party and made a TON of food and then only 11 people showed up 4 of which did not eat so I had a TON of food left over but that meant that I didn't have to make dinner or lunch the next day.

Oh my gosh, poor Little Man. I hope you get answers, stat!

In the meantime, do I even have to say it anymore? Your grandbabies are SO CUTE! Glad the Squidling is getting some meds for her reflux — we've been there done that, so I have sympathy for everyone involved.

Great snowy-foggy mountain pics

Hey Jo, I read this today and thought of you.

http://community.feministing.com/2008/11/mormon-feminist-and-kind-of-af.html#more

("Mormon, Feminist, and Kind of Afraid.")

There's quite a heated debate about being a Mormom and a feminist at Feministing.com today.

Perhaps you have some wise words for the author of the piece... it sounds like she's feeling very alone.

I'm surprised by some of the comments, hope it doesn't rile you up too much... I know just what you need, more drama in your life ;)

Her blog is here in case you don't want to engage at Femisnisting.

Those pictures are great! I looked at camera's Saturday and picked out my future one. I just hope to get it by October of next year.

I hope Little man is okay, too! I would go get that checked out. Make sure something more serious isn't going on.

Also glad the sweet little baby is smiling! She's adorable. I love the dimple! I hope my kids have my husbands.

What they hey! Stroller Derby is talking about the same topic today?!

Weird. Is the universe stalking feminist Mormons today?
