3 Things

1. First and MOST important, you must know, I had the MOST rocking awesome lunch ever on Weds!
I had lunch with Amber, Bonnie and Jill. Jill brought Max! Oh my gosh, there should be a meet and greet just to meet him! He is twice as cute and smart as Jill says he is. We got to see him do his imitation of windshield wipers, including the washer fluid, (known as spit in common terms) heard him say "also", and in general be about the sweetest and best behaved small child you could ever wish for! If they could box him up and sell him, no ONE, would ever be able to keep him in stock. LOVE me some Max. He even let me kiss him. MWAH, there is another one for ya little sweetie pie!
Other than the Max adoration that happened, we laughed, we talked, we gossiped, (yes about YOU, what do you think?!?) we laughed some more. We ate, and talked, well, you get the idea. It was so much fun, thank you ladies, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my release from prison.

2. I went to Costco yesterday. I was shopping, of course. All of sudden a voice comes on over the intercom, "put your things down, you must exit the store immediately!" I look over to the back of the store, which I was very close to, and there was a LOT of smoke! YIKES! Obediently and wisely, I put my things down, and exited the store in a calm and orderly fashion. As I was leaving the parking lot the fire trucks were arriving. A little too much excitement for me!

3. I bought some new rechargeable batteries. I chose the Eneloop on the advice of my wise camera store advisor. They hold their charge for up to a year after you take them out of the charger! AND, this is the mind blowing part. They have a sabot, or plastic spacer for size C and D batteries. You take a AA and slide it into the spacer and then put the batteries into your electronic that takes that size battery. What the heck??? There isn't any difference between a C, D or AA except size??? I so don't get it. Maybe someone out there has an answer for me, cause my inquiring mind wants to know!

Lunch with girlfriends and dodging the fire at Costco. I would say that you are one pretty lucky woman.

Off to find out some more about the adorable Max if I can.

Enjoy your weekend!

Was it really on fire ? You mean to tell me that you went to Costco and left with NOTHING ? that NEVER happens.
I would have stayed and waited until the fire brigade left ! :)

Max is still talking about the lunch.

And I love my pig! Every time I see her, she makes me smile.

Can't wait for the next lunch. Next time I'll remember to bring Max's microphone so he can sing for you.

I wish I could have lunch with my blog friends, but 99% are in a different country! The 3 or 4 other Canadians are in Ontario, and i sit all alone in BC. :(

A fire at Costco? Crazy! did you hear what happened or how bad it was?

A battery that holds it's charge for a YEAR? Wow!
