As Promised

Here are the rest of the pictures from Mountain Monday I was too tired to post. These pictures were taken on the first day of Spring, wherein Utah pretended that Spring had actually arrived. She lied. It is snowing, again.

The Pea got her first pair of skates. She told me she has elbow pads and knee pads, but when I asked her if she had a bum pad, she informed me sadly that they don't make them. I told her I could get her one and she thought it was the best. Actually, so did I!

We are signing the Boy up for soccer! There is a league for children with disabilities in the area and he starts after Easter break. We thought we would help him out by getting him a ball ahead of time and getting him acquainted with the whole concept. Great fun was had by all.

Check out the Pea! Neither of her feet are on the ground. What a kid.

Look at his smile!

Pop Pop came home while we were playing outside. The Pea was ecstatic, as was Pop Pop.

Check out the bubble! If you look close, you can see me with my camera in it.

We had fun, and now I want spring to arrive completely so we can have more fun!

The pic of Pop and Pea brought tears to my eyes. Her little fingers all spread and her arms. There was something so heartwarming about that!

No feet on the ground, the Boy's huge grin, bubble...spectacular!

He will love that! That's so great there's a league for him.

It's nice to see the Boy looking so happy! I don't see that often.

The bum pad is a fabulous idea. You need to patent it.

I don't think my kids feet ever touch the ground. They're always on the go and moving so fast.

Great photos but the bum pad was my favorite.

Hahaha — bum pad. THat is funny. Pea is such a gorgeous, ALIVE little girl — I can see it every week in the pictures you take, Jo! And I love the one of Little Man blowing bubbles. So serious and intent on his task!

What fun pictures!!

You do realize, now that you are officially a soccer mom you will have to buy one of those gas guzzling SUVs. I'm pretty sure it's required for all soccer moms.

Ha! I love your idea for a bum pad. I need to bookmark this for the next time Q talks me into roller blading. He's graceful and skilled, but I seem to spend more time on my backside than on my feet.
