Mountain Monday In May

Check this out!

On Saturday, Me's Blog, Eagles View, had a birthday lunch!
It was awesome fun, great company, I laughed and laughed. Check out the link for everyone who was there. I got to meet the (in)famous Motherboard!
Here I am with Motherboard!
She is just as snarky in real life as she is on her blog, have no fear.
I think Me's blog had a good birthday celebration if loud laughter and talk about sex is any indication.

There was a big storm that moved through Utah and I caught the clouds as they were retreating.

Ms. Oak Leaf, she continues to hang on, and the new leaves are budding around her.

I love it when you can see the cloud shadows on the mountainside.

And, a couple of favorites from the preceding week.

Look at my boy grin!! Have I mentioned recently how much I LOVE being a soccer mom? I love watching him run and play. It is so incredibly average and cliche and I love every second of it. Obviously my boy does too!

I took the Pea to a place that serves "tea". They have dress up clothes for the kids and the Pea was delighted.

It is sooo good for me to be able to remember all the good things that happen every week in my life.

It's always fun hanging out with you. And I was so impressed with your dragon!

No one invited ME... Humph. (okay okay, so I couldn't have gone anyways, but whatever.. :P)

I can't believe that leaf is still hanging in there! That's so neat!

Your boy looks so happy! Were the kids playing "real" soccer or "pack" soccer? Last year my son played "pack' soccer.. where ALL the kids were clumped in a tight circle chasing the ball. SOO funny!!

My daughter would absolutely love going to a tea party store. It sounds like just her thing.

Ohh, I wish we had a tea party store around here — Eliza would love it too. Pea looks adorable in her big flowery hat.

I am so glad for you that Little Man gets to have his moments of "normal" on the soccer field, and you get to have yours watching him. Those pictures speak volumes.

How fun! I miss bloggenions. (blog + reunions)

It's very nice to see the soccer pictures of your smiling boy. :) And of Pea all dressed up! Oh, I would have LOVED that as a little girl. Your probably her favorite.

We're good mormon women- there is no way we talked about sex! ;) I love how I look like an idiot in the picture and like I'm glowing in my yellow shirt. Way to draw attention.

Yay for soccer! Now that the tree is blooming I want that dang leaf to give up already. I was cheering for it all winter but now it looks sad!

Lady, you are one mean, needle thingy with the felter. Or whatever you call it! My kids love the piggy!! Except they keep fighting over who gets to keep it.
It was fun to visit with you again!
Good times!
Can I swipe your pics?

OK, that little girl and THAT GORGEOUS HAT - she is the bomb. Hey you had a lunch, with friends, AND GOT TO TALK ABOUT SEX --and I wasn't there. Dang. I bet it was a blast.

Oh, and I adored seeing pictures of YOU this week, Jo. Keep them coming.

I love Ms. Oak Leaf. You have to promise me though that if she looks like she's going to fall you'll hang out by the tree until she comes off so you can pick her up and keep her forever! I'd miss her!
And I love being a cliche soccer mom too. It's funny how un-average it becomes when it's it's your baby playing. ;o)
Have a wonderful day Jo!
