Just Another Mountain Monday

Honest, it is still Monday here! It has been a crazy week, what with Buttercup making her debut, Little Man starting summer vacation and to top it all off, we are leaving on Thursday or Friday to go to a family reunion in South Dakota. Rather crazy here, but it is a good crazy and I am not complaining.
First the mountains and then the cuteness, okay? When I went out this evening to snap you some pictures, it rained and poured and hailed. I just waited out the storm, so the world was fresh and beautiful, just for you I am sure!

Can you believe I have FOUR granddaughters? When I started my blog, Pea was just a baby. Now four of them. Each one beautiful and precious. Mondays always remind me how very blessed I am.
Buttercup is doing well overall. She is a good eater, but her jaundice is a wee bit of a concern. They will test her again tomorrow, if her bilirubin contineus to rise, she will need to go under the lights.

It is a bit difficult to get things together to leave the state with Little Man home, but so far so good. He LOVES our newest little one. He is just so good with babies. I can't wait to take my camera home to the rez. I have some ideas for things I would like to capture. As always, thanks for the excuse to get me out and enjoying all the beautiful things around me.

Oh my gosh, what wonderful pictures! On the natural world ones, my fave was the one with the rain drops on the leaves. If I had to pick a cute one of the g.kids though, i'd be stumped. They are all adorable!

Buttercup is gorgeous! All of your grandkids are.

I love the picture of leaves with water droplets. I get so excited every time I use my camera that I am able to capture images like that.

I can't wait to see what you bring home from the rez.

Precious. Give em all a squish for me would ya?

I may have already mentioned this, I can't remember - old age and all - but I was reading a book a few weeks ago, and it featured several characters that were Lakota and I thought about you. It talked a bit about life on the rez too.
I felt connected because I knew you. I'm a whacko, I know. :)

Jo, your pictures are awesome! People should pay you to do them. For real.

Also, you have the cutest freakin' kids and grandkids ever, but I'm pretty sure I may have mentioned that before. :)
