Even Better!

Come and do the extubation happy dance with me! She is breathing on her own and doing better. Still in the ICU, but I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders. And now she can talk, so I will just ask her if she wants me to come.
Thank you, thank you, your kind words, thoughts and prayers make a world of difference.

I'm so glad your mom is doing better. I know just how you feel because my mom has been very sick and in and out of hospitals since April. If you want my opinion....go out and see her. You will never regret the time you spend with her.

I've been away from Google Reader for a while, so I'm sorry I did not send you good wishes when you needed them. However, I am happy that everything is looking good!

I'm glad things are looking up. It's so hard to face the illness of a loved one, and we're never ready to face the loss of a parent.

P.S.
I love the blog name you've given your sister. It describes my little sister to a T.

I'm so glad that Mom is improving, Jo! Thank the Lord.

My 72-year-old Mom had an emergency appendectomy last month--her first surgery EVER! We were blessed that she breezed right through it with no complications. And she was bossing me around even as she was being wheeled on the gurney into the operating room. :):) It's still so scary when it's your mom. Sending lots of love.
