Yesterday, the Princess had been planning on taking the Pea to get her picture taken, because she looked so cute. But she ended up too tired to drag the kid out, so I suggested I take some pics instead, with my AWESOME camera. As we were setting up the "studio", Little Man decided he wanted his picture taken too. I decided to take advantage of TWO cooperative children and catch some shots. Some, um... weren't so good, for various reasons, including a bad attitude.
I threatened to quit the whole photo shoot more than once. Kind of glad I didn't, for the following reasons:
I took over 150 pictures, and ended up with about 20 pictures that are good. All in all, it was a success. What do you think?

16 Kids Who Want To Play:
Cute! I also take four hundred pictures to come up with about five good ones, dangit.
They look great! Great job, Jo.
The one of pouty Pea is my favorite. Precious pictures!
Awesome! I actually really like the pouty profile picture!
If you make any trips here to Canada, bring your camera to catch some good pics of my monsters! Lol!!
Very cute!!
I think you did just marvelous! I adore the pouty Pea! Too cute! I think all of them, even though they may not be "worthy of hanging in the entry way" are all GREAT!
Great success! I wish I could get a few shots of my kids together but a few of them always end up looking terrible or just moving in the picture!
I think the pouty one's are my favorite. But the last one was super cute, too.
I've started saving for my camera. I've put most of my Christmas money in an envelope. :)
I have to agree with everyone else. The pouty picture is my favorite!
I love them! Candid shots are so much better than stiff, posed pictures. I love the expressions on their faces - Priceless (and better yet, FREE!)
I love the last one and the profile pouty one. Real character that kid.
I like them! What cuties. Can't decide which I like more the headlock or the pout. They're both keepers.
I'm always ready for a stiff drink by the time we get to the end of a photo appointment. And since I don't drink that's quite a state to be in. It's been years since I've braved a family portrait.
GOYGEOUS !! Seriously glad you didn't give up.
I like the pouty one too though :)
I have an award for you on my blog!
I love the pouting pea. She's so cute when she's pouting, just like grandma I'm sure!
I feel for you on the 150=20. I think that's how photo math works.
An absolute success, Jo, without a doubt. The children are absolutely darling. Well worth any amount of time and effort to come up with these shots. There are just too many good names to pick one or two favorites.
Spent some more time on your site this morning. You are quite a dynamic woman! I absolutely love your profile description...tangled...very fitting. It is always such fun to discover fun and interesting people in the blogosphere. :)
