Mountain Monday

I took off with my hubby's car when he got home from work this afternoon so I could go snap some Mountain Monday shots. When I got back, he said, "that didn't take long" and I said, "well, when you have perfect beauty and it just sits there and doesn't move, it isn't hard!"

I love this little leaf, clinging against all hope against the winter storms!

The Pea has a new pet! A mini bunny named Dodger. He is the sweetest thing.

Little Man got a new pet too! A dumbo rat named Ben, (As in Ben 10). Ben is my guilt gift to my son on Friday. Little Man had such an emotional day and when he cried for his pet rat Peter who died, well, that did me in. So now we have a new one. I am a sucker, what can I say?

Here is the Pea being a monkey:

This little piggy is my first commissioned piece! I meet with Bonnie from The Zoo tomorrow to facilitate the adoption process. We shall also do lunch! Yay!

I doubt any of you had a Monday as good as mine, cause mine ROCKED!

What's a girl gotta do to get one of those little piggies?!?

I'm really loving that leaf pic too.

That third photo immediately made me want to go downhill skiing again, except then my visual image of zooming downhill ended with visualizing a collision with a tree. Hmmmm... Need more positive self-talk.

And I'm totally stealing the rat-and-bunny picture to make a LOLZ. :)

You always have GREAT pictures! Are you selling the little piggies now? Is that what a girls gotta do to get one? Because I will pay!

I like the leaf picture.
I want a rabbit.
And you're right. My Monday was "blah". Not bad. Just Blah.
Glad to see you had a great day!!

You take the best pictures. Ben and Dodger are darling, as are their owners. Also, I want to go to market so I can needle-felt my own little piggies. :)

Sure, the piggy is cute but he just can't beat the dragon. Literally. I don't think a pig would do very well against a fire-breathing dragon.

I love Pea's new friend!

You never cease to amaze me with beautiful pics Jo!! I am glad that you had a great Monday!!

Ben is so adorable, but then I am partial to ratties. Chick's been dying for a dumbo or even a hairless rat. I think we are just going to stay at two for a little while.

Love the lone leaf in the first photo. Always look forward to Mountain Mondays. Thank you.

Hold the phone! Are these the darling knitted piggies that you mentioned in one of your recent comments on our blog? I am SO excited. If I attend the meet and greet on February 21st, you would seriously give me one of these?
I heart your piggies, Jo!

If you guys decide to take your show on the road and head west, my girls and I will definitely be there. San Francisco is lovely this time of year. :)

Love the Pea and love the picture of the leaf. I often feel like that leaf. Feeling aonle and swinging in the wind.
