And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta. | |

Oh...my...WORD! I got this:
"Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington... ."
WHOA! I can walk up my street in South Jersey, stand at the top of Neighborhood Bridge and see the lights of Philadelphia!!! WHOA!
Thanks, Jo. This was fun!
I did it too, and I posted my results on my site. Cool quiz!
Midland here. It said I would have a good face, er, I mean VOICE, for TV or radio. Hmm.
I did it. I am midland! Well I have family from Missouri. I spent a week or two of my life there is all!
Fun.
I thought, OH great, Pen and Pin? Do you remmeber that bookclub?
Your Result: The Inland North
You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."
It says I have a North Central accent (think Minnesota). I'm from San Francisco, though, and I sound just like everyone else in Northern California!
Maybe I misread the questions? *shrug*
Anyway, how goes the wedding preparations? So exciting :)
Hit it right on the nose. North Jersey it is. This was a little fun. I need fun. Thanks.
I'm Canadian. And that was such a great quiz. It told me my accent was North Central and that people would probably mistake me for being Canadian!! Very cool.
