The Princess was over and showed me some pretty spectacular bruises on her legs. I was shocked and asked how in heaven's name did you get those? She replied, with a twinkle in her eye, "oh from pole dancing". My wide eyes gave her all the reaction she was seeking and she wasn't in too big of a hurry to inform me that a friend of hers and herself were doing it as a form of exercise. I guess it is getting pretty popular?
Just call me old fashioned, but I will leave the pole dancing for the young'uns.

5 Kids Who Want To Play:
Heh. She likes to shock you, huh?
That is GREAT !!! She can be in shape and make money too.
I think it's a little closed minded to think that just because someone takes pole lessons means that they are doing it so they can be a professional stripper.
Not all ballet students are there to become professionals. Same with people who like to go running, bowling, or taking a pottery class. They don't want to be marathon runners, bowling league members or artists.
It's just exercise for crying out loud!
I am pretty sure Kj meant that as a joke anonymous, you would have to be pretty old and out of it, to not have heard of it as a form of exercise.
Some people just do not have a sense of haha!
